A recent transplant from the tri-state region of New York, Lois joined ACI Architectural Concepts, Inc. as a principal to assist in growing and establishing the firm as a leader in Corporate Commercial Interiors and developing their design practice. Her skills include workplace strategy, building evaluations and due diligence, design and project management. She has won several awards and is looking to continue her community involvement in her new home state.

Lois Palguta, AIA

Biography

Lois Palguta is a Principal with the firm and is the Interiors Practice lead. She studied at Catholic University of America earning her Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1986 and continued her education at the University of Michigan where she received her Masters of Architecture with honors in 1989. Lois became a registered architect in the early 90’s and is currently registered in Florida, New York, Connecticut and Virginia. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and NCARB certified, giving her the ability to practice architecture throughout the United States.

She has recently been involved in a variety of projects ranging from office interiors, retail, life sciences, not for profits and high-end residential projects. Her thirty years of experience have included working with award winning designer Ward Bennett, an associate at Gensler and practice lead for CannonDesign. Lois has had the opportunity to work with many Fortune 500 companies in numerous market sectors.
